Return Period
We offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery for eligible products. The product must be unboxed only to inspect, untampered, in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation intact. Transit damage claims have a stricter 72-hour window - see the Damaged in Transit section below.
All return requests must include an unboxing video and supporting photographs. Returns requested after 7 days of delivery will not be accepted. The delivery date as recorded by the courier is the official date of receipt.
Eligible for Returns
- Defective or damaged products upon arrival (with evidence)
- Wrong product delivered (with evidence)
- Products with manufacturing defects, as verified upon inspection by our team
- Products significantly different from the listed description, as determined upon inspection by our team
All claims must be supported by an unboxing video and photographs submitted at the time of raising the request. Claims without evidence will not be processed.
Non-Returnable Items
- Products that have been used, flown, or tested beyond initial inspection
- Products with broken seals, missing accessories, or missing original packaging
- Custom-built drones — defects in custom builds are handled under the Service Refunds section below, not through the standard return process
- Products whose serial number does not match our dispatch records
- Sale or clearance items marked as final sale
- Products returned without a valid Return Authorization (RA) number
Unboxing Video Requirement
Mandatory for all return claims
You must record a continuous, unedited unboxing video for every order you receive. This is required to process any return claim including transit damage, wrong item, or missing contents. Without a valid unboxing video, the return request will be declined with no exceptions.
- Video must start before the outer packaging is opened
- Must be continuous with no cuts or edits
- Must clearly show the package label, seal condition, and contents
- AI-generated or digitally manipulated photos and videos are not accepted and will result in immediate rejection of the claim and permanent account suspension at our sole discretion
Return Process
Step 1: Initiate Return
Email returns@minidroneshop.com within 7 days of delivery (or within 72 hours for transit damage) with your order number, reason for return, unboxing video, and photographs of the product. Requests without all supporting evidence will not be processed.
Step 2: Mandatory Live Video Verification
Before any return is approved, a live video verification call is required. We will review your initial request within 2 business days and then schedule a short video call (via Google Meet or WhatsApp) within a further 2 business days. During the call you must present the product, show the serial number, demonstrate the reported issue, and show all original packaging and accessories. No Return Authorization will be issued without a completed verification call. Failure to attend the scheduled call or rescheduling more than once will result in the return request being closed.
Step 3: Return Authorization
If the live verification confirms the reported issue, we will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number. The RA number is valid for 7 days from the date of issue. Products shipped after the RA expires will not be accepted and will be returned to sender at the customer's cost. If you are unable to ship within 7 days due to genuine circumstances, contact us before the RA expires to request an extension, which will be granted at our discretion.
Step 4: Ship the Product
Pack the product securely with all original accessories, packaging, and documentation. Write the RA number clearly on the outside of the package. Products received incomplete or without the RA number will be rejected automatically.
Step 5: Inspection & Decision
Upon receipt, our team will inspect the product and verify the serial number against our dispatch records. If the product matches the reported issue, we will process your refund or replacement. If inspection finds the product to be in working condition or not matching what was dispatched, the return will be rejected and you will be notified. You must then arrange and pay for return shipping within 14 days of the rejection notice before we dispatch the product back to you. Payment must be made via bank transfer to the account details provided in the rejection notice, after which we will arrange dispatch within 5 business days. If payment is not received within 14 days of the rejection notice, the product will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Mini Drone Shop, subject to applicable laws, with no further liability to either party.
Return Shipping
- Verified Defective/Wrong Products: Once the claim is approved, we will coordinate with you to arrange return shipping - either by reimbursing your shipping cost or booking a courier pickup, depending on what is mutually agreed upon
- Exchange Shipping: For verified defective or wrong item exchanges, return shipping is coordinated the same way as above. Replacement shipping to you is covered by us
- Rejected Returns: Customer bears all return shipping charges, which must be paid within 14 days of the rejection notice before dispatch
Refund Methods
Original Payment Method
Refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after inspection is complete and the return is approved.
Bank Transfer
Available upon request, processed within 7-10 business days. Bank details must match the name on the order.
Refund Amount
Refunds cover the product cost only. Shipping charges, packaging costs, and any other handling fees are non-refundable in all cases except where the order is cancelled before it has been dispatched, in which case no shipping has been charged.
- Verified Defective Products: Full product cost refunded. Shipping and packaging costs are not included
- Transit Damage (verified): Full product cost refunded. Shipping costs are not included
- Missing Accessories/Items: Product cost minus the value of any missing components
- Cancelled Before Dispatch: Full amount paid refunded including any shipping fees charged, as no shipment has taken place
Exchanges
Exchanges are offered only for verified defective products or wrong items delivered. Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery and follow the same 5-step return process above, including the mandatory live video verification call. An unboxing video and supporting evidence must be submitted at Step 1.

- Different product exchange (price difference to be settled before dispatch)
- No exchange fees for verified defective products
- If the requested product is out of stock and no suitable alternative is agreed upon, a refund of the product cost will be issued instead
Cancellations
Before Dispatch
- Orders can be cancelled anytime before dispatch through your account on our website, by emailing returns@minidroneshop.com, or by calling +91-8639180548 during business hours
- Full refund of the total amount paid processed within 5-7 business days
- No cancellation fees
After Dispatch
- Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched
- If the product arrives defective or wrong, follow the standard return process
- No return is accepted for any other reason once dispatched
Custom Orders
- Free cancellation within 24 hours of order placement, provided work has not yet begun
- After 24 hours but before work has begun, a 25% cancellation fee on the total order value applies
- No cancellation once work has begun, defined as the point at which components have been sourced, assembly has started, or any software or programming work has commenced - whichever comes first, regardless of whether 24 hours have passed
Service Refunds
Repair Services
- Free re-repair if the same issue persists within 45 days of the repair completion date
- If a repair cannot be completed, we will inform you within 14 business days of receiving the item and issue a full refund of the repair fee. The diagnostic fee is waived in this case
- Diagnostic fee is non-refundable if the repair is declined by the customer after assessment
Custom Builds
- No refund once work has started, defined as the point at which components have been sourced, assembly has started, or any software or programming work has commenced - whichever comes first
- Build covered under 45-day warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of delivery
Drone Light Shows
- Full refund of the total booking amount if cancelled 30+ days before the event
- 50% refund of the total booking amount if cancelled 15-29 days before the event
- No refund if cancelled less than 14 days before the event
- Rescheduling allowed once at no extra charge with 30+ days notice
Warranty vs Returns
Returns (within 7 days)
For products that arrive defective, wrong, or significantly different from the listing. Requires unboxing video, evidence, and RA approval.
Warranty (varies by product)
For manufacturing defects discovered after the 7-day return window. Handled directly with the manufacturer or through us as an intermediary. Warranty does not cover physical damage, water damage, or misuse. All shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. See the full Warranty section below for details.

Store Products
Not all store products carry a warranty. Only products that explicitly mention a warranty in their product description page are covered. If no warranty is stated in the product listing, no warranty applies. Please check the product page before purchasing if warranty is important to you.

Custom Builds
For custom-built drones, Mini Drone Shop is the manufacturer and is fully responsible for the warranty. Custom builds carry a 45-day warranty from the date of delivery.
- Contact us within 45 days of delivery with a description and video evidence of the defect
- A live video verification call will be scheduled to assess the issue
- If confirmed as a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the faulty component at our discretion based on the situation
- Customer bears all shipping costs, including return shipping after repair or replacement
- Resolution within 14 business days of receiving the unit
What Warranty Covers
- Manufacturing defects in components or assembly
- Premature failure of parts under normal use
- Firmware or software defects in custom builds
What Warranty Does Not Cover
- Physical damage from crashes, drops, or mishandling
- Water or moisture damage
- Damage from incorrect charging or power supply
- Modifications made by the customer after delivery
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage resulting from use beyond the product's rated specifications
- Any damage resulting from unauthorised repairs attempted by the customer
- Damage caused by environmental conditions such as extreme heat, cold, humidity, dust, or exposure to corrosive elements
Damaged in Transit
If your product arrives damaged:
- If the outer package is visibly crushed or tampered with, do not accept delivery - photograph and video the exterior before refusing it and ask the delivery agent to note the refusal reason
- If damage is found after opening, stop and record it on video immediately as a continuation of your unboxing video
- Contact us within 72 hours of delivery with your evidence (exterior photos/video for refused deliveries, or full unboxing video for damage found after opening) - this is a strict window required to raise a dispute with the courier
- Claims raised after 72 hours cannot be guaranteed and will be assessed on a case by case basis
- Once your evidence is reviewed (within 2 business days of your report), a mandatory live video verification call will be scheduled as part of the standard return process before any resolution is approved
- Verified transit damage will be resolved with a replacement or a refund of the product cost
Fraudulent Returns
We take fraudulent return attempts seriously. This includes but is not limited to returning a different product than what was dispatched, falsely claiming damage or wrong item without evidence, submitting AI-generated or digitally manipulated photos or videos as proof, tampering with serial numbers, or repeatedly exploiting the return process.
We verify serial numbers on every returned product against our dispatch records. Any discrepancy will result in the return being rejected, the product held, and the case reported to the appropriate authorities. We reserve the right to permanently refuse service to accounts associated with fraudulent activity, at our sole discretion.
